It's going to get worse???

“Considering the number of young players, this is not a surprise,” said Chiefs president/general manager Carl Peterson, slumped against a wall outside the locker room. “We made our decision to go young, and now we’re taking some lumps doing that. It’s obviously a work in progress. We knew it was going to be painful. This is a new direction for us, and it takes time.

“It’s probably going to get worse before it gets better. But we’re only three games into a 16-game season. We’re looking for improvement, and there’s time to make that improvement.”

---
The Chiefs have lost 12 in a row and the GM is saying it is probably going to get worse? Does this mean we are going to lose another 13 games before things get better?

I absolutely HATE it when people says the guy doesn't want to win. Call him anything in the world you want, but it's utterly ridiculous to claim he doesn't want to win.

I dont see Croyle, or Thigpen, or whoever being able to win a game.

Huard actually gives the team the best shot at a win somewhere....but who knows? If you cant stop the run or run the ball effectively your dead in the NFL.

Cant wait to watch those games at the end of year with Miami and Cinci.

Yup, and nothing makes the job easier than a super bowl win.

This is exactly why Carl has never bought off on a full scale rebuilding project. Most people can't stomach it. I really have no problem finding out if Thigpen has what it takes to be an NFL QB. Better now than going into next season with those same questions. While Croyle is injured lets find out what Thigpen can do. We know what the Chiefs can be with Huard. Mediocre. I'm finished with mediocre. I'm ready to build something that can be better than that. Everyone is clamoring for Huard, not me. I would rather go 1-15 or 0-16 than 4-12 or 6-10 because lets face it we weren't going to any better than that even if Huard started all 16 games.

My theory is that he wants ties, because tie games mean that there was 25 percent more time in the stadium where people are buying concessions. That's the real way to maximize revenues.
