From what I've seen this year, he's nothing special. A serviceable QB yes, but he benifits from having a very explosive offense around him.

Actually Sanchez threw 2 INT's.....

But really you'd think a guy who completes 64% of his passes and has a 28-8 TD/Int ratio would be considered better than serviceable especially when you consider this is his first year of starting.

I'd rather see Texas ahead of Oklahoma because I don't think Oklahoma would win the national title game. They have some significant injuries on defense. I think Texas would beat OU in a rematch. We'll see some serious offensive firepower no matter what if the national title game includes Florida.

Ryan Dinwiddie threw for 4400 yards with a 62% completion percentage with a 31-7 TD to INT ratio in 2003, but where is he now? Sanchez is going to be great just like Booty and Leinart, the media loves these USC QB's. He's nowhere near the college elite QB's. Hell, I'd take 5, maybe 6 QB's from the B12 over this guy. I don't know, but I just haven't been terribly impressed from what I've seen (I will admit it has been a limited amount). I guess I expect more from him given the fact that the PAC-10 sucks and USC has such great offensive talent. Do you think his knee injury is still affecting his play?

Ryan Dinwiddie was an alcoholic that was 6' tall...

USC runs a very pro style offense and Mark Sanchez has natural NFL talent, I'm sorry that you watch great NFL prospects like Todd Boeckman and Terrell Pryor.

So I say that I don't think that Mark Sanchez looks like anything more than a serviceable QB and you begin insulting the team I follow. Well I'm sorry Mr. USC. You're right, every player on USC's roster is the best football player ever. Mark Sanchez is John Elway. Taylor Mays is Ronnie Lott. Brian Cushing is Dick Butkus. USC's waterboy is Bobby Boucher. Clearly you don't pimp EVERY USC player on this board and can be considered an unbiased source.

That was a hilarious post...I'm critical of USC players but for a first year starter Sanchez has been very good.
