please tell me I didn't hear Schefter on the NFL Network bring up Jimmy Rae's name as a possible candidate for GM...

Since Clark Hunt said he'd be looking for candidates that have no ties to the Chiefs previously, I'd have to think that neither father or son would actually be a potential candidate.

If this or something equivalent are to happen, I will fear turning on the news that day. With the economy tanking, this may be just enough to push 100,000 ailing, broke chiefs fans over the edge to suicide... or apparently to face peeling with a Ron Po-peel.
