Just got threatened by a....

60 year old woman at work.

Here how it went. Every 3rd Wednesday, at a apartment complex that I work at, we have pest control, and we have a guy from a company that comes out and sprays each individual apartments, basically a basic treatment on the covebase/floor areas. My boss went with the pest control guy and we went to this one particitular unit, where our staff had major issues with, since this tenant always gives us problems, such as calling the police on us for no apparent reason, even though she is claiming that somebody is breaking into her apartment.

Now before I go any further, an example would be is that she once claimed that her next door neighbor was trying to break in by climbing on the ceiling from his unit to her unit. Okay, well here are a few problems with that. One is that each unit is seperated by a concrete barrier, so there's no way for the next door neighbor to somehow get on top of his ceiling and climb over to the apartment, unless you do it by jackhammering, which the whole building would have heard it regardless. Also, the ceiling tiles are only supported by wires that are propped into the concerete ceiling, and the weight of the ceiling tiles wouldn't even support a human body, since it would come crashing down and such.

Anyways, she wasn't home during pest control (This is normal, since she's never home anyways during the work week, because she hates us for apparently no reason) so my boss opened the door and let the bug guy spray in her apartment. What happened was that she got home and saw the note on her door knob (this is procedure to let the tenants know that we were in there to do either repairs or inspections, etc) and tore it up, and threw it over the balcony into the atrium area.

Then she went over to the other side of the building to talk to the resident manager who is on duty, and a different tenant overheard the conversation on the floor below. Basically she said to the resident manager "If somebody ever comes into my apartment again, I will get a gun and shoot their asses", and left. Both of those tenants who heard the comment reported to the Director and signed a statement about what happened.

She's now under a 30 day eviction notice.

We sent them a calender, marking the dates that Pest Control will be conducted, along with the 24 hour notice posted on the tenant posting board as well.

Same thing with annual inspections, or a work that has to be done by a contractor, except if it's a emergency.

When I was selling cookies when I was younger I got trapped in this house in the hood.. It was horrible they had trap doors, booby traps and a vicious dog.. The owner chased me into the walls wearing this leather suit.. Luckily their daughter fed me.. Eventually I got downstairs, and guess what?? Instead of dead cats, they had casper looking white kids with no tongues.. Some of them were dead.. I found a secret room down there with gold and money.. Eventually the crazy guy wearing the leather suit found me after he got done banging his wife who ended up being his sister, I escaped and killed the dog.. I eventually escaped the house with their daughter who was a kidnapped neighbor kid through the attic window..

can anybody beat that???

So, yes, it's easy as I think, because she has broken her lease agreement by law, and 4 people have signed an statement that the incident occured.

That seems adequate to me. I'd probably recommend posting on doors though.
