Recieved a Ticket Today

First one in 14 yrs.

47 in a 35 ; although there is a very long stretch of no posted signs...no excuse i suppose.

the thing that "flustrates" me is I was the 3rd vehicle in a chain 3 .
Was immediately lit up by a unmarked dodge charger; all black with dark grey decals etc; lights on the interior of the car etc.

I guess the fact I was on an orange sportbike didn't help me either

Oh well; they gotta write all those tickets to pay for those shiny toys.

AND!, speaking of 'writing' a ticket....they didn't even do that! It was a print out...like you'd get a pizza hut or Best Buy etc. How lazy is that?!

I imagin that dude just sits there a few times a week for an hour or so, writes 4-6 tickets at $100/ea; prints them out and looks like a winner.
He was popping people (me apparently) as they were peeling off into the business park...crappy way to start the day.

Oh well. I was going 'over'...just how it went down "flustrated" me. those other cars better buy lottery tickets.

i'm leaning more and more towards getting rid of the bike, and scoring a used one; getting cheap fairings ec; and making it a track day bike.

I've noticed the last 5 years, it's become very bad for sportbikes (mostly because of the jackasses 'stunting' etc); they're too much fun to be limited by the street and the dangers/laws associated with it etc.

I think track days would be a blast; but not sure how frequent they are, or how much the $$..

My first ticket came on my 16th birthday. I felt lucky because I had been driving since I was 12. And, I have always had a problem speeding.

The worst was getting clocked at 120 and the cop put out an APB because he didn't think he could catch up to me before the state line. I didn't even know he had clocked me. Took him 30 miles to catch up, and it was only because I ran into some traffic.

Luckily, I was in the service and he didn't cart me off to jail.
