Why you should be scared...

Pioli and Haley thought this team would be competitive. They thought we had a shot at winning eight games.

Everyone wants to talk about how bad the roster is and how we have to cut them slack because they're digging out from Peterson and Herm's mess. This is no different from the last Chiefs team. Peterson and Herm thought that roster was capable of being competitive. They thought we could win six or seven with last year's roster.

Pioli and Haley thought we could win eight or more with what they've put out there.

Do they know what it takes to win football games? It takes players. Not signs or media policies or Pentagon-like security or secrets or cursing at the players. Players win football games.

22 guys off the street could win two games. We're halfway home and the Chiefs have one victory.

Im not going to judge Herm vs Haley at this point because Haley doenst have the third down crutch Herm did.

I do agree that we should be trying to "force" the ball to Bowe. The fourth quarter of the Jags game shows that to be the case.

I think the biggest problem right now is that Cassel is scared to lift up his skirt, grab his balls and go and make a ****ing play. He seems content with 3 yard dumpoffs on third and 15 instead of taking a shot and trusting his ability. That scares me a lot.

Well, at this point it is like trying to figure out which turd stinks worse, but I think it is Todd Haley.

Are you ok today? You are not your usual sharp self. Did you miss the point entirely, or do you just refuse to acknowledge it?

Even he said he is doing a horrible job, gawd. Re-read my post then get back to me.

They did? Did they say that? Frankly, if they did think that it was only because they thought they were in a very weak division. Turns out that Denver is much, MUCH better than anyone expected.

I doubt, VERY MUCH, that Pioli/Haley would say, under truth serum, that they had "average" talent for an NFL team. This team is seriously undertalented, and that fact is obvious to everyone.

I'm uncertain whether you saw Bill Belichick's quotes from a recent interview with Jason Cole. If not, here's the link:

One quote in particular is VERY important for the Chiefs and their fans to understand:

One bad decision is not going to do it, one bad player is not going to do it, one bad coach is not going to do it. You’re going to have to collectively, over a cumulative period of time, make a long series of bad decisions and accumulate a lot of players who are substandard for their position. There have to be a multitude of things that go wrong.
Pioli and Haley are trying to rectify YEARS of bad decisions, and it's nearly impossible to do that in just one year.

I tend to think, for some very odd reason, that Pioli has some sense of what it takes to win football games. His father in law is Bill Parcells and his mentor is Bill Belichick. Even a dumbass rock would learn a few things hanging around with those guys just by osmosis. Pioli is not a dumbass rock.

This is completely foolish, and you know it.

Full disclosure: I am a die-hard Patriots fan, not a Chiefs fan. FWIW.
