Like any team, we probably stand to lose. But that's why they play them on the court not on paper.

I am guessing that Mike Anderson has a pretty good idea how to change up the play of the team to fit the style of the opponent.

I am guessing that you are saying how do we stand a chance against teams like KU, Texas and Kentucky? Well, guess we will find out later this season on at least 2 of those 3 teams...

Probably lose a game. I don't see any Mizzou fans talking about running the table from here out. I understand your concern that teams who are good to great in all phases of the game are bound to play us tough.

Missouri actually had more rebounds than Illinois in the second half, and they had a a bunch of offensive rebounds. Missouri was practically the only team pulling anything off the boards late in the game once Illinois was worn down.

Also, way to admit you were wrong Como.

Missouri also only ended up shooting 40% overall and from the three point line. The shooting wasn't good at all in the second half, but the rebounding got better. Guys like Dixon didn't shoot a great percentage, but they made free throws and made important baskets.

Its just a different approach to stay competitive against big time opponents when you arent able to land huge recruits like a Kansas or Texas continually will.

I love the style, and as long as they are hittin shots (or gettin offensive boards) they are gonna be tough to beat.

MU got out rebounded by Illinois, even with Illinois being worn down at the end. I'm not just talking about 1 half. MU has as a serious problem in the paint. If they can't hit shots from outside.....theyre gonna be in trouble in Big12 play.
