If you guys don't understand the benefits of being a coach at Texas compared to the shit of the Big 12 then I don't know how to help you understand. My point I'm trying to make is Barnes is a consistently underachieving coach. I'm not trying to make Doc Sadler and Jeff Bzedilik to be Elite Coaches in the league. I'm indicating that almost any coach in the Big 12 could produce what Barnes had assuming they had that talent and if Barnes coached at Colorado or Nebraska their results would be similar to the current coaches there now.

Since 2001, Colorado and Nebraska have not had any four star or five star recruits. Zero combined. Texas has had 20. And most of Texas 3 star recruits are much better than Colorado and Nebraska's.

Barnes is an embarrassingly bad coach once the games actually begin. That is all.

There was one game a few weeks ago that he had to sit because of fouls, but on the whole, you are correct.

Depending on how Aldrich does in the tourney I think KU can win it all. The only reason I don't like KU's chances are because it seems they rely ALOT on Collins to hit 3's. Thats just an outsiders prospective.

I think they can win it all, but they're certainly not a favorite at this point. And I really don't think anyone is.

If X was as dominant as he was in non-con, I'd say we are a favorite. An off game by Collins or foul trouble for Aldrich could end it all.

If X could just turn it around and start hitting 40% of his threes while playing good defense, I don't think we could be stopped with the combination of Aldrich, Collins, and Mc. Morris scoring as well. He's really got to pull out of this slump....that's why Self keeps playing him, he knows his importance.
