I'll Always Remember the 2 weeks of Optimism that we had after the 49ers game in 2010

I really enjoyed feeling optimistic. That was awesome feeling like we could play with anyone. Then Matt Casshat ruined everything.

It kind of feels like the 90's again. We're winning games with our defense despite having a mediocre starting QB whose only accomplishment was being a backup on a perennial playoff contender.

10 wins in 3 years and a young ascending team. Who wouldn't be excited about making the playoffs this season?

32. Denver Broncos (No. 23; 2-5): With four wins and 13 losses over the last 17 games and a 45-point loss at home to the Raiders, we'd put the Broncos lower than No. 32 if we could

Honestly, I feel no different after yesterday's game at all. I certainly don't feel any more negative about the team than before. If anything, I came away slightly more encouraged by the young defense.

Cassel was exactly what I thought he'd be. This game did nothing to change that.

All in all, I feel better about our team as of today than I did before the season started. And it's gradually grown each game. I don't think that's a bad thing at all.

I'm still smilin today...

Man, I haven't been this happy about a loss since Huard sparkled for 133 and an 87.8 rating in Denver in '06. Good times.
