Our teacher was obviously upset and when we all sat down, she told us she had some very bad news. At first I though our class did something wrong because she was so visibly upset and could not get the words out.

I had a teacher in high school do that once. Walked into class, had trouble breathing, looked like she was crying, said she had to go home.

Turns out she'd had a miscarriage at school.
