Do you have a Will?

I don't, but I don't have any assets or dependents. I would like to get an unscientific view of what part of the posting population has gone to the trouble of writing out a will with a lawyer.

I'm also sort of planning for life after school, and I think I could open up a shop that specializes in elder law and estate planning.

If you have, what made you do it? How did you determine where to get your will written up?

If you haven't, why haven't you?

Young...ish, sort of. Assets and heirs. Have joint tennancy w/ spouse on house, vehicles, and accounts. Only one child. I suppose if another kid comes along might have to divide up the loot between them. Perfectly happy to have everything go to wife then child per my states rules of intestate succession.

He would never steal from me, because it's all community property in the family anyway. He wants a pizza, he orders a pizza, and the same goes for me and my wife. But he's keeping quiet about who that intruder was, and I don't understand why. I'm guessing it's because it's someone he knows.

I have a Will and a Trust set up for my kids. I also have a business contingency plan if I should die. I'm pretty well organized in the event of my untimely death
