He was a very good, very solid and very reliable guy holding the point at left defensive end so guys like Vrabes, Bruschi and McGinest could work their magic.

The one thing to note in particular is that teams play MORE sub than base. NFL is cyclical and copy-cat at the same time. All things come, go, then come around again.
