I had fell in lust with a cocktail waitress @ Jubitz Truck Stop in Portland, Or. She give it up & I fell in love with the snatch. 2 months later I was off the road living with her. That didn't last long. I ended up going back on the road & was in Jubitz again one night.

There she was, a big blue eyed girl. I thought she looked amazing & was feeling good enough to go tell her that. Instant connection & I actually asked her to marry me that night.

Been married since '94. She's a keeper. She's stuck with me when the divorce rate for paralyzed folks is staggering.

This was out at her parents' place on the 4th of July '99. 4 years later I got hurt.

We met at a bar. I walked up and said " Hey you wanna get a pizza and ****" she slapped me and then I asked her to marry me. She slapped me again then gave me her number. Six years and two kids later I still haven't got my pizza.

She said yes. We stayed up all night & talked about flying to Nevada. I never did ask her again. Believe it or not, she was a virgin. When we met she was 19 & I was 27. Back then it was a big deal, now not so much. She's always been a goody two shoes.

We tried hard to wait until we were married but she became pregnant so we went to Reno & got married one weekend. Several of her family members are from the Turlock, Ca. area so they flew over. I had no one there. All I kept hearing was, "chhkk, chhkk". The family unloaded them after I said "I do". I don't know how they were able to get them on the plane.

She lost that baby & we lost 3 more in 8 years of trying before we finally had our daughter in '01.
