Hypothetical established players for #1 pick

This is not intended to be a realistic thread.

I want to know what players already in the NFL you would trade the #1 pick for. They can be QB's, RB's, DT's, OL, punters...whatever.

I'll start with some non-QB's:

Calvin Johnson
A.J. Green
Von Miller
J.J. Watt

First I don't have expectations that Geno Smith is going be an Andrew Luck. Aaron Rodgers would be ok for a few years maybe we get lucky & maybe not win a Super Bowl? There is no NO guarantee in this league for any QB to win a Super Bowl that we go after. What I want is to get our own QB from the draft that we can build a team around that has potential to be great. Geno Smith "could" be that guy. Maybe not but I sure the **** want to find out. I am sick and tired of retread QBs. I didn't want Joe ****ing Montana when we got him. I want our own QB to build a championship team around that could be great for a decade to come.

We can win with Geno Smith I have no doubt about it. We are too stupid of a franchise to find out.

If he doesn't pick Geno, it'll be Tyler Wilson. And everyone will be happy.

Players who are worth the #1 pick in the draft (assuming we're getting them at their current age):

Robert Griffin III
Calvin Johnson
Aaron Rodgers
Adrian Peterson
Julio Jones
A.J. Green
Jamaal Charles
J.J. Watt
Clay Matthews?

Guys who are worth a top-ten pick:

Patrick Willis
Drew Brees
CJ Spiller
Arrian Foster
Geno Atkins?
Haloti Ngata?
Darelle Revis
Von Miller
Aldon Smith

Players I'd trade our #1 pick for:

Aaron Rodgers
Robert Griffin III

Brees is in his 30s now, and it'd be hard to give up a #1 pick for a guy in his 30s. That's why Brady and Manning aren't on the list at all.

I want to see more out of Andrew Luck. He got a lot of at-bats this year to produce good production stats, but he wasn't dominating like RGIII was. I'd be tempted to put him in my top ten list due to potential.

How many years can you trust RGIII to take the field? Can he make it through a season & playoffs without being hurt? I'd rather have Luck or Russell Wilson than RGIII. I'd take Geno Smith over RGIII for that I think Geno can succeed & stay healthy for long term.

I don't give a ****. I've wanted to draft our own QBotf at top of the draft for 20+ years. Hypothetically sounds great to get Aaron Rodgers, I wouldn't be a dummy & not do it. Doesn't change the fact I want to draft a QBotf at top of the draft over any other retread & I don't curr who they are.

There is no guarandamntee that Aaron Rodgers, Tomm Brady, or Peyton Manning would bring us a championship. I also understand that there is no guarandamntee that Geno Smith would either. My feeling is I want us to DRAFT a QBotf PERIOD.

Let alone realistically there is no chance in HELL that Green Bay would even sneeze in the direction of trading away Aaron Rodgers for our first strait up. So why make a case for it?

**** Retreads.

Steve Young and Randall Cunningham had long careers. I suspect they're bigger than RGIII, and of course Young was built like a truck. I see your point about a pocket passer being safer, though.

It's weird to me that every single Super Bowl isn't won by a running quarterback, and in fact they never are. Running quarterbacks scare the bejeezus out of me on defense. It's like having a 12th man lining up at running back. But obviously there's some flaw in my thinking.
