Remember last year Tannehill had pretty much no idea what teams were in what conference, didn't know the divisions, etc.

There are probably lots of cases where the fans know more about the league than the players.

this was the case for every D1 recruit out of my high school, they were all recruited to big college schools to play football and didnt even really give a shit about following the NFL in depth like a lot of the non football players i knew who were just sports fans in general.

its like that in alot of sports! alot of them say i dont really follow teams. I just played it when i was young and ended up being really good. lol

Most pro players arent hardcore sports freaks. Hell, i dont know many males that are period. i know some, but most dont care about sports.

This stuff just kills me. I want my football players to be guys who love football. Who were fans of the NFL growing up. Who know who Sammy Baugh and Marion Motley and Mike Curtis are. If they're living my dream I want them to at least appreciate it.
