My one and only FF team

This is a 12 team league.
1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1TE, 1 OP (QB,RB,WR, TE), 1 K, 1 Defense.

I picked 6th, which in my opinion is the absolute worse spot to draft. QB's in this league only get 4 pts per TD and players who return kicks get points for yardage.

Warning: I don't have anything at WR.

QB: Romo
RB: Richardson
RB: Forte
WR: Bowe
WR: M. Austin
WR: K. Britt
TE: Graham
OP: Eli Manning
K: Hartley
D: Seahawks

Bench:
RB: Benard - CIN
WR: Givins - STL
WR: Hopkins - HOU
QB: Weeden - CLE

How bad are my WRs?

I wouldn't say your WRs are that bad.

I think both Givens and Hopkins have tremendous upside.

I like that duo more than Austin/Britt.

Not as bad as your QB situation. Don't see how you can't go QB with your first two picks when you start two.

If they end up being real bad, you can probably find a WR on the junk pile that returns kicks enough to give you some points.

last year the top scoring QB in this league was RG3 with 308 points. So the scoring really evens out the positions.
1 pt for ever 25 yards passing
4 pts for every TD
-2 pts for INT
-2 pts for ever 10 incompletions
2 pts for a 50+ yd TD pass
2 pts for 2 pt passing conversion

If they got 6 pts per TD pass I would agree, but only 4 pts makes it a little more difficult. Plus, Brees, Rodgers, Manning, Brady, and Newton were gone before my 2nd pick.

Austin/ Britt are proven but the downside of Austin is he is injury prone. Britt just has to stay out of off the field trouble and Locker has to step it up.

Givens has shown flashes and really depends more on Bradford/O-line and Hopkins is an unproven rookie on a primarily running dominated team. He could turn into a Cruz type player but I am not a Schaub fan for that to happen because A Johnson is his only passing 'binky'.

At this point I will take Austin/Britt.

Bad WR's with solid upside youth.

Should be a playoff team...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
