Both Walter and his other writer Charlie have been putting out their 2014 mock drafts. I'll update it when they update it....especially if something major changes.

Kansas City Chiefs: Xavier Su'a-Filo, G, UCLA
The Chiefs would like to select a guard, but they can probably do so after trading down. They just signed Jeff Linkenbach, but I'm told that they view the former Colt as a backup. Right guard is a huge hole.

Kansas City Chiefs: Jarvis Landry, WR, LSU
The Chiefs need some help in their receiving corps, especially with Dexter McCluster now in Tennessee.

Kansas City Chiefs: Ka'Deem Carey, RB, Arizona
The Chiefs will be looking to add a running back, as Knile Davis is not expected to be ready for the 2014 season.

Kansas City Chiefs: Brent Urban, DE/DT Virginia
The Chiefs may want to address the five-technique position after losing Tyson Jackson to Atlanta this offseason.

Kansas City Chiefs: Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, OT/G, Canada
After allowing Branden Albert to walk, the Chiefs will want to address the tackle position at some point during the middle rounds if they can't do anything about it in free agency.

Kansas City Chiefs: Lonnie Ballentine, S, Memphis
The Chiefs could use depth at safety, and they've shown interest in Lonnie Ballentine.

Kansas City Chiefs: Marqise Lee, WR, USC

I've had the Chiefs selecting a guard for the longest time, but I've always prefaced that they would select Xavier Su'a-Filo if they could trade down. They're desperate to move into the top of Round 2 because they don't have a choice in the second frame.

But what if they stay put? I'm told Su'a-Filo is still a strong option, but Marqise Lee will definitely be considered as well. The Chiefs need a current second receiver, and they also have to find a successor for Dwayne Bowe.

*** OTHER 2014 NFL DRAFT POSSIBILITIES: ***

1. Xavier Su'a-Filo, G - The Chiefs are likely to trade down. If they do, they'll target the UCLA guard.

2. Brandin Cooks, WR - Andy Reid reportedly likes Cooks, so perhaps he'll be the wideout chosen at No. 23.

#87. Kansas City Chiefs: David Yankey, G/OT, Stanford

As mentioned, the Chiefs are considering a guard with their first pick, especially if they move down. If they take a receiver instead, a guard will be in play here.

#124. Kansas City Chiefs: Ka'Deem Carey, RB, Arizona

#11. San Francisco 49ers: Odell Beckham, WR, LSU

TRADE! The 49ers have tons of selections, so they are definitely making a move. Per our NFL Draft Rumors, the player they covet is Odell Beckham. They'll have to move ahead of the Giants, Rams, Steelers, Ravens and Jets, all of whom could take him. It would take a second-rounder this year and a second next year.

Anquan Boldin was re-signed, but he won't be around much longer. Also, Mario Manningham just signed with the Giants. San Francisco needs to add a deep threat at wideout, and Beckham certainly fits that.
