The USS Ranger Aircraft Carrier has made it through the inlet at South Padre Island headed to the Brownsville Shipyard for dismantling. So much history in this ship sad no one bought it for a museum piece.

The Boat the Top Gun movie was filmed on. First angle decked carrier.
She was a beauty in her day.

If I could get it to Colorado, it would be a really cool bed and breakfast up in the mountains.

I currently work at Patriots Point, home of the Yorktown. It's a freaking maintenance nightmare taking on these old ships. Great place to work, but incredibly expensive upkeep.
