I read it the same.

I assumed the band just kept him around on a farewell tour.

Being Lenny and having to watch the chicken shit we have at QB depresses me. I can't imagine having to see it first hand each week. I'd beg for death.

It's time. Nothing but respect for Len, but it's been time for him to hang it up.

Wasn't Bill Maas making ~ 100K/game during his stint at FOX doing color? Trent isn't the "known commodity" Maas was in his prime, but I wouldn't be surprised to learn Trent makes more than 25K per game...

Oh really? Maas was crap too, I'd take Green over him and people know who Green is...

Mitch is ****ing unbearable at times. Len cracks me up because he just says whatever he is thinking.....which has included cursing the last couple years

that is what I like about him. He is Mr. Chief-and can say whatever he wants. If he gets too negative it is because he has had to watch so many years of failure. The 70's and 80's being in the cellar, the heartbreaking playoff losses of the 90' and 2000's, the Herm years, the Pioli / Cashole years- that is a lot of poor football.

I like Trent Green too-but he is such a homer sometimes-he makes an Alex interception sound like a good thing. "Alex put a perfect spiral on that one.." All in all he is a pretty good announcer though and is always prepared. He continues to get better. He deserves all the success he is having.
