Ideally, you want to pick a team like the Seahawks at +3300. They are a good balanced team, Russell Wilson has been to the SB twice, as has Pete Carroll.

you want to pick a team that is on the outside looking in, but that has all the pieces to win a game against any opponent anywhere. Usually means a good running game and a top 12 or so defense. I don't know right off the top of my head where the Hawks rank offensively and defensively, but I do know that they have a running game and they are a tough out with Wilson running things.

I did that when the Ravens won, when they were +4400. Made a nice bit of change on that one.

As of now,

Saints vs 49ers

Ravens vs Pats

the Pats need to loose a game or 2 to give the Chiefs a chance.

We play Packers, Vikings and Titans next. That is a tall order. W/O Mahomie, I am skeptical.

I have a bold prediction. The Pats go 3-3 over the next 6 games. I wouldn't be surprised to see them go 4-2, but I don't expect 5-1 or 6-0. The Pats have feasted on weak teams all season. But over the next 6 weeks they play the Browns, Ravens, Eagles, Cowboys, Chiefs and Texans. If they only lose one or none of those 6, just cancel the playoffs and put them in the Superbowl again. But I think that they will falter. They literally have 42 year old Brady, a banged up Edelman, and 9 jags on offense. Now is the time that we see if they are still Champs.
