Should we have played Henne the entire 2nd half?

I keep seeing on social media that Chiefs fans are pissed at Mahomes and Reid and insist that Henne should have played the rest of the game.

I have to ask the Planet their opinion because I don't get it. It's the playoffs, it's win or go home. I don't see us winning that game with Henne because that last TD to MVS was pure Mahomes, Henne doesn't make that throw. Nor does he make a couple of the throws leading up to it.

Reminds me of the old saying that the Backup QB is the most popular player on the team. That said, I did not like seeing Mahomes in pain on the field and struggling to put decent velocity on many of his throws. For his health, I think he should not have played in that 2nd half. I care more about his long term health than I do about the Chiefs winning any single game.

At the start of the second half, early on I believe, Mahomes scrambled and came up very gimpy again. He missed his next few passes and then on the next drive they tried that odd QB sneak play. I thought they were going to pull him at that point because he was off and the play book was clearly limited because of his ankle.

70% Mahomes (I didn't see the game, was working, so correct me if I missed the percentage,) beats a healthy Henne, physically and team emotionally, all day.

Honestly think it was more like 50% Mahomes, or maybe lower than that. Some of the throws you could tell he had zero velocity on them because he could not push off the right ankle at all. Those particular throws looked like what you might see from a weak-armed QB at the high school level. It was not fun watching him struggle like that with his body.
