Cleveland Browns
2) Abdul Carter, DE, Penn St. 33) Omarion Hampton, RB, UNC 67) Jaylin Noel, WR, Iowa St. 94) Ozzy Trapilo, OT, Boston College 104) Jordan Phillips, DT, Maryland 179) Jackson Slater, G, Sacramento St. 192) Will Howard, QB, Ohio St. 200) Antwane Wells Jr, WR, Ole Miss 216) Carson Vinson, OT, Alabama A&M 255) Patrick Jenkins, DT, Tulane Doubt the Browns will keep 10 draft picks. This draft was all about setting up for rookie QB. Build the lines and running game. Pick up some Offensive weapons. Howard may turn into the guy but if not getting a backup in rd 6 is good enough. Washington Commanders 29) Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina 61) Jack Sawyer, EDGE, Ohio St. 128) Damien Martinez, RB, Miami 205) Jordan Hancock, CB, Ohio State 245) Ricky White III, WR, UNLV Commies didn't have as many picks. Secondary certainly needed help to compete with the high powered offenses in the NFC like the Packers, Lions, and Eagles. Add a couple weapons on offense and hope Daniels doesn't slump in his 2nd season. |

Not surprised Mykel Williams went higher (netting me +10), but the Cowboys taking Tyler Booker at #12 (+4) blew my mind. Thought Booker might slip to round 2 and tank my day 1 score.

Think Rain Man’s Kelvin Banks pick had the largest gain.

I was all over the board, though. I usually end up negative when I compare to the draft. I was a bit negative on the Rams this year, and slightly positive for the Dolphins, mostly due to Mr. Martin. I'll post my delta scores when I get back onto my computer.

Did Couch Potato take the biggest dick punch in CP Mock history with Sanders at 3rd overall?

My Dolphins draft compared to the real draft.
NFL Draft Rain Man 20 1-13 CB Jahdae Barron, Texas 13 18 2-48 G Grey Zabel, North Dakota State 48 64 3-98 S Andrew Mukuba, Texas 98 180 4-116 DT JJ Pegues, Mississippi 116 258 4-135 TE Jake Briningstool, Clemson 135 204 5-150 OT Ajani Cornelius, Oregon 150 231 5-155 QB Quinn Ewers, Texas 155 258 7-224 WR Elijhah Badger, Florida 224 258 7-231 Edge Kaimon Rucker, North Carolina 231 75 7-253 LB Nick Martin, Oklahoma State 253 1566 1423
As usual, I lost a little ground on the real draft, mostly because I overdrafted some guys in the 4th and 5th rounds. Biggest bust: -123 points - 4th round on Jake Briningstool who went undrafted. Biggest steal: +178 - 7th round on Nick Martin who went in the 3rd round.

My Rams draft compared to the real NFL draft.
NFL Draft Rain Man 9 1-26 OT Kelvin Banks, Texas 26 119 3-90 LB Barrett Carter, Clemson 90 177 3-101 CB Dorian Strong, Virginia Tech 101 86 4-127 DT Jamaree Caldwell, Oregon 127 40 6-190 QB Tyler Shough, Louisville 190 187 6-195 S Jaylen Reed, Penn State 195 258 6-201 G Joshua Gray, Oregon State 201 255 6-202 TE Luke Lachey, Iowa 202 1131 1132 I was almost exactly on point with the real draft, gaining 1 point over the entire draft. I did well until the 6th round, where I grabbed a couple of guys who went undrafted and lost a bunch of points. Biggest bust: -76 points - 3rd round selection of Dorian Strong, who went in the 6th round. Biggest steal: +150 points - 6th round selection of Tyler Shough, who went in the 2nd round.

I drafted value on 8 out of 12 selections and close to value (within 10 picks) on another 3 selections… so I’m feeling pretty damn good about my body of work this year. 11 out of 12 selections were spot on or value. That said, my one bad pick, Xavier Restrepo in the 4th round for the Cardinals, absolutely tanked their net score.
Cardinals: Draft Picks: 1-16: Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama (actual 12, +4) 2-47: Alfred Collins, DT, Texas (actual 43, +4) 3-78: Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky (actual 30, +48) 4-115: Xavier Restrepo, WR, Miami (undrafted, -143) 5-152: Smael Mondon Jr., LB, Georgia (actual 161, -9) 7-225: Thaj Brooks, RB, Texas Tech University (actual 193, +32) Total = -64 Steelers: Draft Picks: 1-21: Mykel Williams, DE, Georgia (actual 11, +10) 3-83: Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama (actual 92, -9) 4-123: Quincy Riley, CB, Louisville (actual 131, -8) 5-156: Jordan James, RB, Oregon (actual 147, +9) 6-185: Ty Hamilton, DT, Ohio State (actual 148, +37) 7-229: Malachi Moore, S, Alabama (actual 130, +99) Total = +138 |
