SI: The Chiefs are a Trainwreck

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200...dgments/1.html

• If there's a train wreck waiting to happen early in the NFL this season, it looks to me like it'll occur on offense in Kansas City. The Chiefs scored just two offensive touchdowns this preseason, and while they made the right decision to start the season with veteran quarterback Damon Huard under center rather than Brodie Croyle, points could be at a premium in September until running back Larry Johnson rounds into shape and the re-tooled offensive line finds some kind of form.

LJ is back. The 1st string OL's runblocking's looked great. Huard's got extremely limited reps. Tony G will play more than one drive a game. The RBs look great. McIntosh is back soon, 100% healthy.

I don't know what's causing people to overlook these factors, but there you go. I expect a rough patch offensively for 2-4 games as the 1st team comes together. But after that I expect the Chiefs to get better in a hurry.

Once the offense gels, this is at least a middle of the pack bunch.

The train wreck in question will most likely last all season. Without an effective application of offense we will be sitting in the same place we were year before last during the playoffs.... watching someone else vie for the Super Bowl.

We are going to destroy this season. There is just too much negativity for it not to happen.

Me thinks that it would kill you. Too much running and if the ball ever hits you in the head it will crush that eggshell you have for a skull! (Age does that to bones).
