What does a Mock have to do with his own rankings? Shouldn't a mock be based off of team needs and thinking?

When you move a guy from 9 to 25 that's fishy...

I still dont understand why so many people dont like him. Brown should be a top 15 pick. Im willing to bet that a team that did their homework and scouted this guy properly will take a chance on him which is why I have Brown going to GB at #9

That was where he had him...now he's 25th it's the Mayock affect Mayock doesn't like him now he falls in everyones mock.

I find it sad that these guys trust Mayock more than themselves talk about lacking confidence in yourself.

Here's a whole thread devoted to it..

http://draftcountdown.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32505

Anyone who really thinks Maybin is this great rusher and Brown isn't is just asking to get a shitty player.

I talked to a friend today that's an FSU booster. He said that Brown can have good games and then disappear. He feels he's a HUGE boom or bust guy and there's no way he'd take him in the top ten. He's far from Terrell Suggs.

I talked to another friend that's a D-1 coordinator that recruited and coached against Curry. He feels he's a solid player but there's no way in hell that he'd take him at #3. He thought that was completely foolish.

He said that if Stafford was gone and the Chiefs didn't like Sanchez, he'd take Monroe in a heartbeat.

That wouldn't be my ideal scenario but then again, I'm not a coach.

That makes no sense, what has changed about him besides public opinion? He had a good pro day, I just don't get it. I'd still bet he goes top 10.

It was kinda funny though, when I registered on the forums there I made a long post in an Orakpo thread asking why he was thought of so highly of. No good answers, I copied the same question into the draft chat. 2 seconds later he posts it right along with seriously a whole paragraph basically conceding Orakpo was a 'one trick pony' but ignoring the bigger issue, saying he was athletic and explosive. I think it's kinda funny that he unquestionably(in my mind) prepared a response for that chat.

It was the only tough question I saw him take the whole night.

Mike Mayock doesn't like him and has expressed that repeatedly...now all of the sudden he drops. Just like when he expressed his love for Curry he moved up...

These guys trust Mayock more than they trust themselves, it's lame.
