Who we should draft for MLB

He is a monster and will be an amazing pro. I wouldn't expect him to go in the 1st or 2nd, but who knows. He's a sophomore who declared today.

Im liking Ahmad Brooks, if he enters the draft.

When a guy is compared to Brian Urlacher, you have to take notice of someone like that.

from last year:

Channing Crowder
Comparison:

Strengths
Out of this world talent at linebacker, is a true star in the making. Crowder is wonderfully developed for a player his age. Plays like a 5th year senior and he is a true freshman. Love his athletic ability, is a very nimble and agile kid that can flat out tackle. Crowder is very aggressive football player with unreal instincts and passion for the game.

Weaknesses
He is an athletic freak, he can run, he is tough, strong and aggressive. I really don't know a weakness in him at this point because he is so young. The only thing he will have to do is improve every single year and not get complacent. If he puts on 10-20 pounds to his great athletic frame he will improve his stock even more. What will bother NFL teams though is his history of injuries. He just underwent his 2nd knee surgery in as many years. He must come back and show that he has moved past the injuries, and still perform at a high level. He has a lot of time though.

Summary
Love his athletic ability, he can rush the passer, he can play tough run defense and he can tackle in the open field. Is really a gem at linebacker because very few kids play at such a high level being at so young. Channing could be the best inside linebacker in the nation in a very short time, great athlete with wonderful instincts and skill as a football player.

Channing sounds like a girls' name. But if she can get the job done I'm all for it.

He is one of the best tacklers I have ever seen. He just devours anyone with the ball and is ALL OVER the field. He has amazing athletic ability, instincts, and is always in position.

There will probably be more info on him in the future. He just declared for the draft today. He's a true sophomore.

The two draft services I use have Crowder going in the 1st round, around 20th.

Personally, I think we should avoid MLB in the draft. We need a FA MLB that can take charge right away.

I would be shocked if KC brought in anyone to replace Mitchell. Vermeil loves him and they have too much invested in him at this point.
