The book was so weird and good, but I can't imagine how they made the movie. Will be interesting to see.

The movie will be an amalgam of the Book, TV series, and radio play. Along with some new stuff Adams was working on before he died.

PBS actually showed the BBC version of the Hitchiker series. Maybe you can rent it. Very entertaining.

Movie will be a bit different since it is culling ideas from the TV show and radio broadcasts in addition to the book.
