God I'm pissed off need to vent

So my old house is a Christian Radio Station, my rent was to pay people to come in and sit there all day to please the FCC.

Anyway, there is this old couple, who come and sit there, they are very nice, but not all there.

Anyway, so the guy was holding my cat, and the cat whiped around and bit him. So he comes into the office today, all bandaged up, and wants me to pay his medical bill, (He needed 2 stiches). I say sure, bring in the bill and I'll pay it. he hand me this note from the doctors office saying it cost 273 bucks. So I say I'll pay it once it goes through insurance, and they start to mumble and crap so I just paid the damn thing. 273 buck for a cat bite, leave my effin cat alone.

Looks like we need to pass some Kitty Cat legislation out there to protect society from your vicious uncontrollable animal. Maybe a door to door Kitty Genocide bill is in order. Good thing you don't live in Denver. Then again they probably don't want to kill the pussies out there considering most of them are.

Not that I'd be holding your cat, but if your cat bit me, you'd be paying for its' funeral expenses too.

Cat bites suck. I had a buddy of mine who worked in a vet's office during high school, got bit in the meaty part between the thumb and palm. Even with all the right stuff there to treat is his hand swelled up and turned colors.

Yet another reason to hate cats. Of course, if you MUST transport a cat you should always use one of these:

I'm pretty sure I would rather pay $273 than make a claim on my insurance.

Have you ever considered roofing a house out of cat carcasses?

I know we have lawyers on this board with a better understanding than I. Did you have him sign a release? Paying the bill might be construed as an admission of liability? Not trying to cause you any additional concern but I have really gotten cynical about things like this anymore.

I have now. Wide crown staples would probably work, if I could find some long enough. Just put 'em down like cedar shakes. Cutting the angled pieces for the valleys would be messy though....

I have the wierdest visual of the situation right before the cat bite happens. Let me see if I understand this:

You have a house, but it isn't actually a "house", it's a Christian radio station in which you used to live in.

In lieu of the cash most of us normally have to pay for our living arrangments, you've somehow managed to work out a deal to have senile senior citizins come over and listen to music all day.

If these senile senior citizins fail to show up on a daily basis the FCC will begin to badger you and then you'll have dump the barder system of old people for rent.

Makes perfect sense once you look at the big picture.

I was a bit confused by the way Hoover described it. But now that you put it that way, I'm completely baffled.
