Okok, since the freeipod site was a pretty good success here (several of you guys signed up and got iPods) I was wondering if anybody was interested in another one. This site is similar except it has several free 30 trials (2 by AOL, and several others), meaning that if you don't like the service you don't lose any money. Anyway, the stakes are higher in this game (either a free notebook or $1050.) This site is legit and verified. And nono, I don't spend all my time doing pyramid schemes; I just get really bored at work when there's nothing to do and started this one on Monday. I already have 11 of the 18 referrals. =p There's no time limit on the referrals so no worries if you think it'll take too long. Or you can just sign up and help this poor college student get some cash.

Okay that's all for now, mods, if you don't like the thread here, feel free to move it, but hopefully too many people won't get annoyed. And of course, the obligatory link!

ok, this is just the skeptic in me, but what was the deal with the free iPod. What do you really have to do, end cost, all included.

You have to sign up for some offer (i.e. AOL trial - which costs you $0 if you cancel within 30 days) and then get 5 others to do the same. A lot of people try to get 5 referrals and fail (they might get 2 or so each on average.) I'd estimate that per iPod they ship, they get 10ish signups. The owner of Gratis Internet (the main free site company) claims that they get ~30-40 per signup from companies like AOL. Which, based on my fuzzy math, comes to between 300 and 400 per iPod (which cost only 250$ in bulk.) So this model is most definitely legitamate economically and has worked for me, AustinChief, and several friends. There's also been a NY times article and CNN/MSNBC/BBC features on the site, which apparently has now shipped over 16k iPods.
