You picked KC and Indianapolis D's? Though they may be improved it still is a big risk.
I saw Mike Williams at practice the other day and he didn't look all that great.

QB Green, Plummer -- Grade A-, excellent tandem
RB Holmes, S.Jackson, Foster, M.Williams -- Grade D, love the Priest, but you'd better have a deep RB corp, and you don't... WR D-Jack, Driver, Kennison, M.Robinson -- Grade C+, pretty good top3, but not great, and zero depth TE Shockey -- Grade C, good luck PK - Longwell, Kimrin -- Grade B, Longwell is solid, should have mega opportunities. Kimrin? D - IND, KC -- Grade [/b]F-[/b] You gotta be kidding me... Over all F, don't think you'll even sniff the post-season with this team. You gotta do better than this... |

Anyway, Foster is a HUGE iffy play this year. I would hype him up in a big way to somebody, along with a WR(maybe Williams), to a team desparate for WR, and try and get a true starter w/out injury history. Foster most likely will split time with Shelton, and maybe Davis later in the year as well. Also, take a hard look at your QBs, you could part with one of them for a lesser backup to strengthen maybe both RB/WR. |

QB Green, Plummer
Sweet duo. Green is a legit starter. Plummer is borderline due to the INTs, but will produce big numbers. RB Holmes, S.Jackson, Foster Only 3? Pray for health as you didn't get LJ. S Jackson appears to be set for a huge year, I like that 1-2 combo. Foster... well, if he can stay healthy, you have a nice trio. WR D-Jack, Driver, Kennison, M.Robinson, Mike Williams Jackson and Driver are a good 1-2 punch. If Kennison repeats 2004, he's a decent #3, if he repeats the previous many years of his career, prepare to curse the fantasy gods. Same goes for Robinson, although he should be a bigger piece to the offense. Who knows what to expect of Williams. TE Shockey You appear to be sold on Shockey. I am not. PK - Longwell, Kimrin Just need one, drop Kimrin and pick up depth at RB or WR... hell maybe even TE. D - IND, KC Not a bad duo. Defense is the biggest crapshoot in fantasy football. KC's defense should be better, so that's a plus and if Hall gets rolling, he's fantasy gold on special teams. Overall - your WRs and TEs would concern me. I like your RBs if Foster pans out. You have valid trade bait with Plummer, possibly combine him with a Foster or a Robinson to upgrade at RB or WR.

just be active in free agency after the season starts. You can always find dummies to trade to, for example in one of my leagues a raider fan had Peyton Manning, but he really wanted Kerry Collins so he traded freakin Peyton Manning straight up for Collins.....I protested the trade but it went through anyways.....

The last three years I've had Trent Green as my QB. This is because I can't justify using a top pick for a QB. Our league is dominated by RB's so I always go back to back RB's. I've gotten Green in the 4th round all three years. And, to be honest, I think I could have waited till the 5th and still managed to grab him. People always hatin' on Green, but, 4000+ yards and 25+ TD's every year is pretty good. Incidentally, I've never finished lower than 3rd in my league. I plan on picking him up again this year. |
