More fallout from the criminal Chiefs- QB's now get in the mix
Sorry if this is a repost. Are these guys fuckin roid ragin or what?
http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansas...s/12416380.htm Chiefs QBs involved in bar incident By ELIZABETH MERRILL The Kansas City Star RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The fallout from a night off continues for the Chiefs. Police in Stillwater, Minn., were flagged down to assist in a bar incident involving quarterbacks Todd Collins and Trent Green in the early-morning hours last Sunday. Collins, according to an incident report, climbed up on a speaker box at the Freight House Restaurant and Bar and refused to get down. When a security guard attempted to remove Collins, he allegedly struck him in the head. No charges have been filed in the incident. Three other Chiefs players were also involved in brushes with the law in the early hours Sunday. Their incidents, on a rare night off from training camp, occurred within one hour in three different parts of the area. Kicker Lawrence Tynes was charged Wednesday on one felony count of substantial battery in connection with an altercation at Boomer's, a River Falls nightclub. About the same time Tynes was charged, defensive tackle Junior Siavii's lawyer was entering not-guilty pleas in a Minneapolis courtroom on charges of disorderly conduct and misdemeanor assault. Siavii and safety Greg Wesley were arrested Sunday morning for an incident at a Minneapolis hotel. Wesley was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. As the Chiefs ended their morning workout, and Green faced reporters, president/general manager Carl Peterson said the Pro Bowl quarterback would answer only football-related questions. "I want it to be understood that this guy right here, Trent Green, was not a facilitator," Peterson said. "He was a negotiator, and because of his efforts, a situation which could've been pretty volatile was not. There were no charges filed, there were no arrests, the police were there and they were very pleased to have Trent there. The incident is over with. "I would hope that people in Kansas City, particularly, never question the integrity of this guy right here. What he's done on the field, and off the field, more importantly, and his family, I think, speak volumes about the integrity of Trent Green. In spite of what some media may want to suppose or write, they're wrong. And this incident is closed as far as we're concerned." Peterson apparently was referring to information in the police report, which alleges that Green had been becoming "overly friendly and grabby towards female wait staff." According to the report, the security guard told police he didn't want to press charges after he spoke with Green. |
