This is junior high boy's basketball, a 1A Kansas school. We're in a tough small school league of 12 teams. We finished 10-2 overall and
9-2 in the league, tied for second place. We'll get the three seed though and will play the winner of the 6 and 11 seeds on Monday. It'll be the 6, a team we beat by five early in the year. We win, we'll play Thursday and Saturday.

All this while my wife is due to have our second child any day now. It'll be crazy!

We won our first round game last night 43-33 to advance to the semifinals. 43 points is not necessarily a low scoring game for junior high. We finished 3rd in the league with a points per game with 40.8, behind a 42.1 and a 40.9.

We'll now face a team that held us to 17 points in 24-17 loss earlier in the season. We play them Thursday night.
