When coach P was at syracuse he was asked about some openings in the south his repy?
"They don't want an Eye-talian as coach." I just figured midwest people were smarter than that. |

Some things I can gurantee you about Coach P
1) He will never ever EVER cry at a new conference. 2) KC would finally have a coach who cares more about winning than fans instead of other way around like we have had for 3 years. 3) The presser after a loss would make you feel like someone died not a team lost a football game.He takes losses hard chiefs fans would like that after california laid back. 4) He would make DJ a monster. He's an old linebacker and can coach up linebackers. |

This guy is going to be 60 when the 2009 season kicks off. Not saying that is a disqualifier, but hiring a 60 year old assistant isn't exactly what I had been picturing as the decision that will lead us to a decade of playoff glory.

I am not overly convinced of Miami's success. I still think their season reeks of "fluke."
That being said, I have a lot of trust in Pioli to make the right call, whether that means hiring a guy like Pasqualoni or keeping Herm Edwards. |

If coach P were hired this guy could be DC they worked together at syracuse.
Clarence Brooks OVERVIEW: "C.B." entered his 3rd year with the Ravens in 2007...Was hired as the Ravens' D-Line coach and successor to Rex Ryan following Ryan's appointment to defensive coordinator...Under Brooks as Miami's DL coach, the Dolphins' defense recorded at least 44 sacks 3 times and averaged nearly 3 sacks a game over a 4-year span...The Dolphins finished in the top 5 in run defense 2 years straight (2002-03) and allowed an average of only 90.8 yards per game in 2003...At the U. of Arizona, Brooks had a hand in "Desert Swarm" – the Wildcats' defense (1990-91). http://www.baltimoreravens.com/Peopl...ce_Brooks.aspx |

Seriously, if Herm Edwards is really our coach in 2009, then Pioli basically failed miserably on his first test. He may be great at finding athletes, but only an idiot would actually believe that Herm should continute to coach this team. |
