I didn't realize that the Friday afternoon makeup game was the Jose Abreu blanket giveaway from April. It was 100 degrees inside the stadium.

8 innings would be preferable with a three run lead going into the ninth.

Duffy is supposed to be one of our future aces. This would be the time to prove he has it in him to take on that role, especially against a struggling offensive team like the White Sox*.

Duffy is a head case. He will worry too much about needing to go deep into the game and ultimately get shelled for it.

That's what I'm worried about. He knows if he goes 3 innings today he's going to put the entire team in a bind. Be a good test to see how he reacts.

His last two starts have been encouraging. Going to be a nice test today for him for sure.
