Slaughterhouse Truck Loses Part Of Load On Highway

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Emergency personnel shut down U.S. Highway 71 for hours overnight after a truck carrying animal waste from a slaughterhouse in Kansas City, Kan., lost part of its load at about 12:30 a.m.

They closed the northbound lanes of the highway between 59th and 61st streets while they cleaned up the blood and animal parts.

On a related note...Zarda BBQ reported a truck of their meats did not arrive at their restaurant this morning.
