At first glance, the Web site you are viewing right now would appear to have changed very little as far as its appearance. But as a new season of NFL football begins, you will notice new features and new ways to find and consume the latest information on your Kansas City Chiefs. These additions and alterations to what was already the fifth most visited site in the National Football League continue our commitment to delivering the most authoritative, accurate and up-to-the-minute reporting on the team.

The Chiefs’ Web site is the place to go for what’s happening now and includes analysis from our columnists, context, and perspective designed for people who want news about the team at any time, and authoritative and accurate information.

Columnists weigh in daily
No Web site in the NFL family of 32 sites has as many columnists as does kccchiefs.com. Bob Gretz serves as our longest running columnist since the site first premiered back in August of 1995. A former beat reporter in Pittsburgh during the Steelers glory days, and later in Kansas City, he is also KC’s representative to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and his in-depth investigation of Chiefs stories making news today often better define what you will find in the mainstream media.

Jon Rand is another former beat reporter, newspaper columnist and author and has a deep understanding of the NFL and its teams.

Eileen Weir, who once worked for the team in its public relations office, examines issues that surround the game and the people who play it and watch it.

As in the past, the site will feature a weekly rookie diary and other special video features will pop up from time to time during the year hosted by our own Patrick Herb.
