Chiefs So, Is there any reason at all to watch the game?

I spent the day getting sunburned to a crisp at Soldier Field watching the Bears piss down their legs against the Bucs.

I have the game recorded on my DVR. I know we lost, but did anything good happen that would make the game worth watching, or was it just another three hour root canal?

Depends on who you ask.

I think there were plenty of bright spots, specifically the fact that the Chiefs never gave up, scored two touchdowns on the road and were in position to score twice more. That's impressive after last week's showing.

Of course, you'll have 10 million people chime in and say the "Chiefs suck", "Fire Herm" etc.

So if you want to look for individual and some team improvement, watch.

If a poor overall showing and a loss will only anger you, don't.

We got our 1st first down around 8 minutes left in the first half. That would be a good place to start. Then, you could turn it off after the first 6 minutes of the second half. That's enough time to see the highlights, and it'll give you a nice inflated sense of pride and hope in your team.

And it's SO incredibly sad that we've been reduced to saying "not giving up" is not just a highlight, but the biggest highlight of a game. This isn't high school or college or Varsity Blues. The only other option is giving up, which is rock bottom.
