I don't care what anyone says, Fall is September 1st to November 30th. Winter is December 1st to February 28th (or occasionally 29th). Spring is March 1st to May 31st, and Summer is June 1st to August 31st.

When I get genuinely cold. Not just feeling cold on my skin. It was 39 one morning last week. I'd say it is there.

Welcome to Nebraska. Last week I was running my furnace, this week the A/C is going. There was one time a couple years ago where I used my snowblower and lawnmower in the same week.

IMO, the seasons should be moved so they actually match what happens and make sense.

March 1 - May 31 - Spring
June 1 - August 31 - Summer
September 1 - November 30 - Fall
December 1 - February 28 - Winter

Who really gives a crap about the solstice and equinox anyway?

Yeah, I lived in Kansas for a long time, I'm used to inconsistent weather, but this country is pretty freaking high, and take away the humidity, and it is just flat cold in the mornings.
