The birth of an era?

Heres to hoping the "JC" era is as exciting as the Priest era was, maybe we will be blessed once again! I hope he gets every opertunity to show his skills more than just 10 carries per game max!

With Haley working on his routes and ball security, along with lifting alot of weights, he can be a huge weapon for us if used properly.

Remember the stretch LJ satt last year? It was our best stretch of games I think. Heres to that returning!

I think we're moving away from the "era" of 1 running back. It's a lot cheaper to have a carousel of RB's who share the load of carries...plus you don't get gassed at the end of a game.

IF he can hold on to the ball. Tiki Barber conquered it, I guess he should be able to conquer it also.

Maybe if they added some weight to him in the offseason it would help.

He could carry it 15 times, and we could find someone in the middle rounds or on the free agent wire in the offseason who can carry the other 10.

I think teams would do better with one speed back and one power back anymore, instead of one guy who does all the work himself.

We went 2-14 last year. I don't think ANY stretch of games was our best.

I am more optimistic about Smith than Charles, as far as a big workload. I'd feel even better if we draft Jonathan Dwyer from GT when he comes out. One thing is for sure...LJ is done. It's bad when I am saying that.

I think Kolby Smith has what it takes to split the carries with him. I'm not sure we need anyone at RB.

I fully expect Kolby Smith to be activated and start after the bye week.

He'll be the "workhorse", getting the majority of first and second down snaps.

You gotta love blanket statements like this one.

It ranks right up there with "Rich Gannon is the backup quarterback for a REASON".

I don't know why Kolby and Charles can't become the next great tandom of backs.Well if we can get a o line in place that will make a whole bigger than a helmet for them to run through that is....
