Brandon Marshall injury

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)

Just what the Broncos didn't need heading into the biggest game of the season. CBS4 Broncos Insider Gary Miller reports that receiver Brandon Marshall strained his right hamstring during Wednesday's practice.

The injury occurred during the early moments of practice that is open to the media. Marshall was running a route when he came up limping. He went to the sideline where he was tended to by the Broncos training staff. He did not return to the field before the media's time to watch practice ended.

The extent of the injury or his status going forward to Sunday's game is unknown at this point. The Broncos are required to issue an injury report after today's practice.

He'll be fine.... and if he's out, Denver can trample KC without him... as long as the other Brandon can stop touching the ref's hand.

Actually I just went through their roster and they have 4 Brandons.Guess were screwed.

Didn't Marshall fake a hammy recently during a game? I guess it was the announcers that were saying that. They said he was setting the opponent up for a final catch (which he received and made, if I recall.)

Pulled a hammy during the part of practice open to the news people? I hope it's true, unless it lulls into (more) complacency, then I really hope it's true.
