I mostly listen to 610. I hate the fact that got they royals broadcasting contract, now I have to listen to 810 every other day to get away from boring ass baseball. 810 sucks most of the time because they spend way to much time talking about golf, what they ate last night, food that is being brought into the studio, or what they did last night. It seems only about half of their air time is actually devoted to sports talk, and only 10 percent of that is anything about the chiefs

Suck....
But they are better than the ass shit we get here in OKC... The Sports Animal is an absolute joke of a sports talk show... Morning isnt to bad... Middle of the day is okay, then the afternoon cry fest from those annoying crying jackasses is just about pathetic at best... Makes you almost want to turn on the Purple cheerleader... Almost, but not really. |

Both are terrible, but I normally find 610 to be the lesser of the two evils.

If the chiefs were in the afc championship game agianst the Denver Broncos then 810 sports would be talking thick burgers, and highschool football.

I am in OKC for work at least 3 days a week and I try to stomach the Sports Animal. I do like to listen to Coach Jones, though. He reminds me of a coach I had in college. Jim and Al get on my nerves.

I think the guy that took Nick Wright's morning timeslot on 610 is a jackass.

I've only listened to Nick Wright once on 610 and that was enough for me. Keitzman show on 810 sucks, The Boarder Patrol is pretty entertaining, but Petro's is by far the best of any I've heard.

Both. As much as I didn't think it was possible, Fescoe makes Twibell sound like Bob Costas, absolutely cannot listen to him. Fortunately, I enjoy St. John. Petro gets the nod and its a toss up between KK and Wright, but that's normally when I catch up on the current events in Death Metal.

I'll listen to Petro from time to time, Keitz and Wright a little bit. Outside of that, I really cannot take KC sports radio. I'll only listen to the other shows if something big is going on in KC.
One thing I strongly dislike about 610 (mainly Wright, Chris/Cowboy did this a lot before leaving 610) is that sometimes they focus too much on poking fun at 810. I remember switching from Petro to Wright after 810 went on commercial, the first thing I hear Wright say when I switched over was about how Petro and him are having a close ratings battle. Wright really needs to stop talking about Petro on the air and worry about himself. I recently got the ESPN Radio app on my iPhone and I listen to that most of the time while driving. Love the app. |

I listen to both....mainly 810 and when they go on commercials i go to 610 unless 610 has some interesting topic they are discussing and 810 doesn't at the moment. Stump the chumps is an annoying segment im forced to listen to during lunch.

I know most people I spoke to said they strongly dis-liked the Smoke N Fire segment because it isn't sports radio and it's just the guest talking about the food while everyone in the studio enjoys it. I cannot say I disagree. I'd always switch over to 610 anytime that happened.

I like the Border Patrol and Petro's show. I think KK is a pompous ass, but he beats the alternative. I find myself flipping away from KK's show often.
I'd say I listen to 810 90% of the time I listen to sports talk radio. |
