Nice to see our players with the right mind set. I can not wait to see MCCluster hit the field.

I'm not a big fan of the McCluster pick, but I do like his dedication.

On a side note, DBowe could probably benefit from some of those eye/focus exercises.

I feel about the same way. I was a bit taken back by the pick, but it sounds like he has a great attitude and is working his tail off to be the best he can be when he hits the field. I can respect that and hope he turns out to be good for the team.

Wasn't a big fan of the pick at the time but he has certainly grown on me. Every single thing I've read about the guy this offseason has been awesome. I hope it transfers to the field.

I'm like others. Hated the pick but starting to love and believe in the guy. I RARELY change my mind on a pick without the guy proving it on the field, but everything -- every damn thing -- I've read, seen or heard of the guy is positive, often extremely positive. I have to admit to barely even thinking about him in the draft build-up, so on draft day it was like, "WTF?!" But simply watching his highlights or game tapes tells you a lot. It ain't Mountain West defenses he's running away from or otherwise clowning. Numerous draft picks including our very own top-5-once-in-a-decade prospect looked all kinds of silly trying to defend McC in the open field.

It's the total yardage I'm not sure about, but would anyone really be surprised if he moved the chains 6-8 times on opening MNF? Any time I think abour out 3rd-down offense, I think about questionable pass pro, a questionable QB and questionable outside WRs' seperation skills; McCluster running a shifty flag or quick slant route and getting open for the "easy" Cassel pass seems like the best outcome.

Only one guy missed the OTA's this season. That's pretty remarkable. Even more so, when you consider the one guy missing isn't going to be on our team.

From what I understand, most, if not all the players are already in or at least preparing to be training camp ready.

Don't be such a sourpuss- this is the BEST offseason this team has had in a very long time.

What's his new name? McLackLuster? McThirddownLuster?

Trying to stay ahead of the midseason nicknames to be given.

Agreed. After doing a little digging on the guy afterwards, it makes you wonder how the others passed (missed?) a playmaker like this. Also makes one wonder much 'due dilligence' other teams do?? Now that they're both here, we have the scenario of those two going against each other day in day out in practice--that's gotta improve their play also.

If he were 6' 210 he would have been a first rounder. Measurables play a big part in drafting.

I think Pioli going with character guys and guys who were captains and good guys off the field will pay off because you see the work ethic these guys have. That's what I am hoping anyway.
