What operating system does your main computer run?
I'm curious to know what the Planet's main operating system is. I work in tech support and come across mostly XP, Vista, some 7, and Mac but will on occasion come across some others.

What do you run CP?

This will hopefully not turn into a OS or system bashing thread... just wanting to get an idea of what the average CP user is packing.

This is tough for me because I don't have a "main" system.. I pretty much evenly split my time between 2 Win7 systems and a Linux system. ..and of course the CP server is Linux but that doesn't really count.

Well, we know you are not running Linux or Mac OS X because you wouldn't be asking that question if you did.

That means that you are likely running a Windows computer. If so, you can open the start menu by clicking the word Start (or the circle with the flag) in the bottom left hand corner of your screen.

My computer has two hard drives. One XP and the other Win7. Much of the software I use for work cannot run on WIN7 yet.

That it nuts. Win 7 is on SP1 now... plenty of time for an update.

That said, you can run a program in compatibility mode. It should run just fine.
