Pro Bowl Jumps the Shark
I can't get excited about watching this abortion at all.

The only, and I mean ONLY redeeming quality of the Pro Bowl had been AFC vs NFC.

That was, of course, when the players actually tried, and tackled and blocked and such.

Now, what am I supposed to root for? Do I want Dontari Poe to sack Alex Smith? Do I want DJ and Houston to whack Charles on a screen pass? What if they knock him out of the game?

What's the point? I just don't get it.
Why even play a game?

Just name your all pro team, let the pro bowl players take their families to Hawaii on vacation, and just enjoy themselves. Why have the charade of a "game?"

Total waste of time.

The Pro Bowl jumped the shark a long time ago. They'll keep playing it, though, as long as the players are willing to keep playing and the viewers keep watching.

I didn't even know they had a draft.
Maybe I'll tune in to watch due to the number of Chiefs in the game, but it will ultimately just remind me of the wildcard abortion and piss me off.

...so, yeah, I'll probably sit this one out. Again.

For the life of me I can't figure out how this format made it from concept to implementation (as is). Just further evidence of how out of touch the league is with its fans. I'm sure there's a little more to it than that, but I'm not thinking the other factors mount to more than a bucket of water in a big lake...

I'm sure Roger is being paid very well to take the heat for this dumbassery, but it's dumbassery nonetheless and it's happening on his watch with his name attached to it...
