Is Kevin Keitzman related to Kirk Cousins?

He talks about him EVERY day.

Today, him and Stan are talking about how Cousins is creating an issue for Washington because he's better, and WILL BE BETTER over his career, than RG3.

About 4 times a week, Keitzman goes on a rant about trading for Cousins and replacing Stanzi.

Now don't get me wrong - if he wants to talk about dumping Stanzi for a better prospect, I'll listen.

But did this guy watch Kirk Cousins in college at all? I'm guessing he hasn't, otherwise he'd know that Kirk Cousins, for all intents and purposes, IS Ricky Stanzi.

Maybe they're COUSINS HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHa

No, seriously, this is just another chance for Keitzman to justify him being sure that the Chiefs would take Cousins in the draft.

Stanzi has a better arm. Kirk is probably more level-headed, but it's not like he's a better decision-maker by any means. He ****s up just as much as Stanzi did at Iowa.

His last play hail mary against Wisconsin aside, I don't think I've seen him be the kind of team leader in college that everyone claimed he was. He often put his teams in shitty positions during close games.

Could have been good, but he doesn't have the kind of arm that can do all the throws. I wouldn't call it noodly, but I also wouldn't even call is adequate. It's below-average.

I'll be SHOCKED if Cousins ever gets a starting gig in this league, much less looks better than RGIII

Yeah, Keitzman went on and on the other day about Kirk's "accomplishments" during his college career, the Big 10 title, the top 5 ranking at one point during the season, and on and on.

All I could think at the time was "sounds EXACTLY like Stanzi at Iowa." Co-B10 title, Orange Bowl win, 9-0 at one point, etc.

Was he mentioning specifics about why he thinks Cousins will be better than RGIII? Is RGIII struggling at the moment and is Cousins doing great?

Neither him nor Stan (sometimes Stan boggles my mind with his takes) mentioned any specifics, they just said generally that Cousins was playing at a higher level than RG3 this preseason.

Why do you people even still pay any attention to the KC media? Actually I'm baffled that people listen to any sports radio as from what I've seen (er, heard) its all total garbage.

Cousins first game was not good, it was about in line with Stanzi's first game only Cousins got more snaps. His second game was great though, but its not like Griffin has totally sucked. His first game was pretty decent and the second had some struggles, but its not like they're on a stacked team so there will be struggles, they were expected, as was Griffin needing some development. Cousins strikes me as an Orton type of guy, he'll have big games but he'll have games where you wonder what he's doing in the NFL.

Sounds like typical people trying to put out some "bold and daring" predictions so that they can then act like they knew all along if they come true, and if they don't, they can just brush off having said it.

I work by myself in an office. I prefer Keitzman to TOTAL SILENCE.

I do listen to music on occasion but I find myself being more entertained by sports talk regardless of how shitty it is.

I tried listening to both stations briefly this afternoon and it is just brutal. 610 had some guest on to talk about Lance Armstrong and then I flipped to 810 and they were talking about Nebraska football.

Both complete failures as far as retaining audience. At 4 pm they better be talking about the things people actually care about such as the Chiefs who play tonight, the Royals, or even SKC who has a big game on Sunday. KC radio really misses Nick Wright.

I turned on either 610 or 810 the other day and they were talking about drafting a guy who was already a player in the NFL. For the first few moments I was completely confused until I realized the segment was presumably about fantasy football. I flipped back to the FM side of the dial.
