I have a theory, actually a hypothesis since I can't test it. I think the San Diego game was the worst loss in recent team history. Not because we lost mind you, but because we barely lost with our backups. Its the only thing that explains Dorsey's complete lack of off season moves and then sudden burst of FA crap fest this week.

Dorsey must have convinced himself that we were deep and ready to win with the next man. How he didn't see the trend of 2-6 would be surprising. But then, maybe he's just not very good at what he's doing.

I definitely think that that game did a lot to influence Dorsey's draft approach... if there was one.

Kush? Watkins? Jeff Allen? Heck yeah, held their own against a team that was do-or-die in week 17 for a playoff bid. Keep 'em around.

Then you add in the fact (if you believe Sacc) that he's greatly influenced by computer software that runs combine and other measurable numbers, that he figured he could get away with replacing McCluster at receiver with Hemingway and roll the draft dice elsewhere in May.

Honestly, the entire 2013 season ****ed us. ****ed up fan expectations, draft position, roster moves, etc.

2 years ago the Chiefs were the worst team in the league. We all need to remember that.

Dorsey just sucks period. 2nd sting players had their rare time to shine. They all came out swinging. Chargers didn't expect us to come out like that so they came in playing a very laxed and confident game.

If the Chiefs had won that game all the Chargers fans would have been really pissed at their coach because they lost a lot of close games to bad teams. Instead they won and got into the playoffs and I had to put up with all the Charger hype.

Then they won a playoff game.

It was great to watch the Chargers blow that game out their a$$ last week.

the biggest thing is he's failed to draft players that get any significant playtime outside of Fisher and even in his playtime, he's sucked.

Total misrepresentation of what Dave is saying.

Nobody expected a SB within 13 months of Dorsey being hired.

The expectation is be in position to maybe win a playoff game within 72 months of being hired.. And that's looking impossible.
