Nice find.
I think both backs are being utilized perfectly by their respective teams. Jay has a touch more speed where Ware is a bit better in the passing game. Pretty equal players. |

Ware is the more rounded back with his receiving abilities IMO.

Funny - I was just talking to some friends of mine about fantasy football stuff after responding to a trade thread in here and Ajayi came up. I said the best comp I could come up with for him was actually Ware and that I was struggling to really find a present day comparison for either of them.
Gore is perfect. I don't think the two backs are as dissimilar as they seemed to think in the video. Ware runs incredibly powerfully when the situation calls for it as well and I think Ajayi isn't utilized in the passing game as much because he just hasn't been asked to (remember - Ware wasn't known as a pass catcher at all until recently). Two very good, very similar RBs and a nice little video demonstrating how they use their vision and set up their blocks well. I think both guys could be 1,500 yard backs if given most of the workload. Really nice finds for both teams.
