Life What's the worst job you ever had?

Mine was hauling small square bales of hay. It is hot, often over 100 degrees in the barn. You have to wear a long sleeved shirt or your arms will get bloodied. And it is damn hard work. Bales of alfalfa can weigh up to 90 pounds. No way I could do it today.

Note - I have too bailed some hay at my great grandfather's farm back in the day......not fun, that shit sucks, talk about some hard work.

Another was I used to work at the marina at Lake Jacomo. Around this time of year was when we would winter-ize the motors on the pontoon rentals and store them up in the shed. a 40HP outboard motor is ****ing heavy and it's odd because its on a swivel for when it turns and it's very top heavy. Had to unbolt them in areas you couldnt reach and it was on a boat which was in the water so you would be in an awkward position to begin with trying to lift them and then you haul them up to a garage that was on shore. Pain in the ass. The overall job at the Marina was the funnest job of my life......but everyone would dread this time of year when we would close up shop for the rental season.

McDonalds. Had to empty/scrape clean the pickle buckets that were filled with old grease from the griddle. They wanted to reuse the buckets. Finished my shift and never went back.

I was a furniture delivery guy for a day back in high school. We drove around all day in 100 degree heat and dragged couches, dressers, matresses, and beds to people's houses. The guy driving the truck wouldn't stop so I could eat something (I am hypoglycemic and I crash every now and then) and get some water. We stopped at one crazy cat lady's hosue and it stunk so bad that we could smell it from the OUTSIDE of the house. I could barely carry the couch through the house because I couldn't breathe because of the nasty ass cat stench. Also, that day I learned that people are incredibly rude to delivery guys.

I never went back. $6 an hour. Gay.

The chassis assembly line at the Winnebago motor homes plant in Forest City, IA. My God, I DESPISED that job.

I've baled hay many times in my youth. Our barn sucked, too. The top part was long and sort of flat, so a lot of times you had to bend over while you were stacking the hay because you couldn't stand straight up.
The worst though was Enterprise Rent A Car. I'd go to a car dealership in the morning and have like 20 people there who had put their car in for service waiting for a car, and I'd have like 2 cars available. And the customers would rightly get super-pissed, and Enterprise would just leave me hanging out to dry with a roomful of pissed off people. Then when cars were returned for me to rent they'd be empty on gas or filthy.
Then after all that you'd have to try and sell them collision insurance. They'd be like "hell no, get me the hell out of here."

Haha I worked at Two Men and a Truck......More like Two Men who dont give a ****.....our driver was an avid pot smoker.....would be higher than a kite most of the time. Wouldnt do shit. I lasted at that job about 2 weeks and said **** it. They changed my hours and wanted me to work like 70 hrs a week **** that.

I worked Maintenance at a beef plant on the kill floor. Talk about some nasty work environments. Thank goodness I switched to IT.

Part time roof extraction job in miami during summer using a jack hammer. Kicked my ass and I was a strong 20 yr old buck.Land lord gave me job as a favor I went to him to say he's not getting his money's worth and should hire someone else. He hired a miami native who handled the jack hammer like it was a broom and barely sweated in 100 plus heat. I am convinced he wasn't human.

LOL I work in the auto claims dept at State Farm. I work with ERAC all day long. People ALWAYS call back complaining they dont have cars.....or you guys sell them insurance, and then when they return the veh we don't pay for that because their own ins policy covers them while in the rental when their veh is getting repaired. ERAC is very very sneaky.
