Doesn't look too bad. I'd probably rather grab the guard in FA like Norwell and draft defense high, but that wouldn't be terrible either.
Need to add a OLB somewhere. That's probably where I'd use one of those 2nd round picks. |

We need to address our pass rush first and foremost IMO. I wanna see how the line performs with Mahomes before using any high picks on that position.

I think Fulton should be re-signed.
Morse needs to move to LG. And I thought DJ has one more yr left on his deal. I doubt he retires so he's still a Chief next season unless they release him, which is a possibility. If anything his play warrants a reconstructed/lower deal. But he's more than paid his dues for the Chiefs so thats very unlikely to happen. DJ has been apart of some REALLY shitty football teams for the majority of his career.

I can really say the same for the FA class. Unless some guys hit the market that shouldn't, it's really shit too. I kind of like Attaochu. I kind of like Autry. I kind of like Alex Okafor. Other than that, the only other guy I kind of like is a RFA and that's Shaq Barrett. The two studs, Ansah and Lawrence, they aren't hitting the market. I went for Attaochu in FA and Lewis in the draft at the position. I honestly don't think this is the year to pin your hopes to fully injecting the pass rush with someone great. If you can get a couple guys that can together give you 12 sacks, you've got something. In a year the Chiefs need to retool on D, the draft is actually looking much stronger on offense. I do think there's some talent at DB and DT though. Wish the Chiefs could move up and take Vita Vea, I think he'd lock down that NT position and will be a force like Poe before his back issues. |

A+ for Tyquan Lewis. I want either him or Hubbard., though I think both guys are top 50 picks.

Not going to quote your post crow but assuming the Chiefs see the class as you do, it seems they'd be very foolish to release Dee Ford. I like that you mentioned there being strength at DT and DB though.
Maybe they get one of those FA OLBs as you mentioned who can easily upgrade Zombo, but come draft day they hone in on the secondary and interior DL. Even though our current OLBs have a lot to prove IMO, I suppose the talent is there to be solid with Houston, Ford, Kpass... we really need Tanoh to turn it on and hopefully start I think. |

Lorenzo Carter is going to be great as an edge rusher and who the Chiefs should take.

It might take him half a season to get up to speed but I think he'd be a nice rotational player in 2018 and would be a great addition even if Houston, Ford and Kpassognon are all healthy this season. Teams can never have enough edge rushers. |

The Lorenzo Carter idea may have some serious teeth now that we hired that guy who worked for Georgia's defense this past season.
