OT: Chiefs autographed memorabilia

Lately I’ve been getting into the signed mini helmets. My wife said to get one for my birthday and was looking at the typical eBay listings. I’d love a Mahomes one but probably out of my price range. Anyway I found a listing under a game day sports out of Kansas City. They are the COA on the item and was wondering if they are legit.

You asked if it was legit... the response was "yes"

My take on this is that the place is legitimate.

I am not a lawyer, but I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express in the past.

How it’s legit. Experience with purchased items ect. Just doing my research as best as possible as it’s a decent amount of money and could not find anything on google.

I'm no expert, but if you really want a Mahomes auto I'd pay a little more for
something JSA authenticated

That’s typically what I do but if they are just a small local business that is legit I’m ok with that as I’ll never sell it.

You're far more trusting of your local (any) sports memorabilia place than I'd be, its a kajillion dollar racket slam full of crooks and cheats

I would want some kind of proof but thats JMO, as the old football commercials used to go... You make the call!

Why is a he selling a Mahomes , Kelce and Hill signed mini speed helmet for the same price as just a Mahomes signed mini speed helmet?

Why hasn't he had these helmets authenticated himself? JSA authenticates all the time in KC so access isn't a problem. He seems to be into selling signed helmets so getting them authenticated beyond his own name would surely be an easy thing for him to handle I would assume. As well as eliminating any questions of legitimacy while commanding a higher resale value for him.

I am not going to say either way if I think he is or isn't selling legit autos. They look good from the pictures, but that isn't saying anything really.

I will say how I would approach the situation though. I would take a hard pass. Whether I was reselling or not later down the line I would make damn sure it is legit autograph. The best way for me to do that is eliminate questions like, is this rando seller selling legit autos. I would rather wait and save if I had to and pay 30-40% more from a reputable authenticator like Beckett and make damn sure I got what I paid for.

Completely agree. Was more curious if anyone on here knew anything about them. Will stick with pristine and known eBay sellers

I bought my Patrick Mahomes mini helmet signed as soon as I could get one after he was drafted. His signature is on the helmet and not this "PP" like sig he uses now. I paid $135 for it!
