The AFC West faces off with the NFC East next season. Being a third place team, the Chiefs will probably be looking at Washington, Dallas, Arizona, and whoever does not win the NFC East, Philly or NY.

On the AFC side, my bet is J-ville, Pittsburgh, Indy and/or New England. Hopefully, we can get the Bengals and the Browns.

Bengals and Browns? They'll save those for the Donx and Raiders. When was the last time the Chiefs had an easy schedule? How many times have we played oittsburg in the last twenty years? The Raiders? The Donx? Don't look for any favors from the NFL. Know why? Small market.

The paper out here in AZ had 15 of the Cardinals next 16 opponents in the paper. The last one decides on a future game. All I know about KC schedule is that they play at Arizona...Denver plays here too.

2001 Interconference opponents

Even though their whole schedule has not been determined, the Chiefs do know who they'll play in interconference competition next season. Kansas City will play home games against the Giants and Eagles, and travel for contests in Washington and Arizona. Dates and times have yet to be determined, and the whole NFL schedule for 2001 will not be released until April.

stevieray,

nine of the 16 games the Chiefs played were against teams that currently have a losing record. How much easier do you want it to get?

This years schedule was based on last year., not this year. We play the Giants and Eagles, aren't both of those teams in the playoffs?

That sucks!

I wanted the Chiefs to play Dallas in the worst way!

Talk about a huge day for TRich. EVERYBODY runs on Dallas and that won't change next year.
